Bridge Flower Planting: Rescheduled To May 24
Due to the weather, the bridge flower planting is moved to 5 p.m. on May 24.

MONTGOMERY, IL - The Village of Montgomery's Beautification Committee offers flower boxes and bridge signs in an ongoing effort to enhance Montgomery’s beauty. Each summer the Mill Street Bridge is lined with these flowers and new signs. But due to the weather forecast, the bridge flower box planting has been changed to Wednesday, May 24 at 5 p.m. Residents will have to wait a few more days for their new floral arrangements and signs.
As part of the Village’s beautification efforts, the Beautification Committee offers opportunities for businesses and residents to participate in the "Enhancing Montgomery's Beauty" Flower Planter Program each year.
The Beautification Committee meets at 6 p.m. on the second Wednesday of each month at Village Hall and said they welcome the communities input on new ideas to beautify the village.
