Domestic Battery, Criminal Damage Charges For Montgomery Man
Police responded early Monday morning to a disturbance and ended up arresting one man on a domestic battery charge.
MONTGOMERY, IL — A Montgomery man was arrested early Monday morning after a disturbance call, according to police. Fernando Ortiz, 27, was taken in after police found the disturbance was a domestic battery between roommates.
Police responded to the call around 12:40 a.m. Monday in the 800 block of Victoria Drive.
Ortiz, whose ear was injured during the fight, was treated at Rush Copley and released back to Montgomery police custody.

He faces charges of domestic battery and criminal damage to property and was taken to Kane County to await bail call.
