DUI, Battery, Several Sentenced: Montgomery Police, Sheriff

Crime incidents reported across Montgomery from the Kendall County Sheriff's Office and the Montgomery Police Department.

Driving while license suspended

The Montgomery Police Department said Angel Santoyo, 20, of the 800 block of Foran Lane, Aurora, was charged with driving on a suspended license after police stopped his vehicle during a traffic stop on Lake Street and Ashland Avenue at 4:28 p.m. Sunday, during which Santoyo was accused of speeding. According to police, Santoyo was released with a pending court date in Aurora.

Saturday, Feb. 2

Unlawful use of a weapon

The Kendall County Sheriff's Office said deputies responded at 10:27 p.m. Saturday to a report of shots fired in the Boulder Hill area of unincorporated Montgomery. The sheriff's office said the incident, which deputies reported as unlawful use of a weapon, is currently under investigation.

Friday, Feb. 1

Possession of a controlled substance

The Kendall County Sheriff's Office reported Uriel Cruz, 23, of the 0-99 block of Winter Hill Circle, Montgomery, was charged Friday with possession of a controlled substance - licensed operations, stemming from a Nov. 27, 2018 offense. According to the sheriff's office, Cruz was released on bond.

Aggravated DUI, driving while license suspended or revoked

The Kendall County Sheriff's Office reported Adolfo Guillen Sr, 46, of the 2800 block of Troon Drive, Montgomery, was sentenced as a weekender Friday on felony charges of driving while license suspended or revoked (second or subsequent offense) and aggravated DUI, stemming from a Sept. 15, 2018 offense.

Domestic battery

The Kendall County Sheriff's Office reported Timothy Glenn Lemmer, 41, of the 2100 block of Rebecca Circle, Montgomery, was sentenced as a weekender Friday on a felony domestic battery (bodily harm) charge from a Sept. 21, 2018 offense.

Resisting or obstruction, leaving the scene of an accident

The Kendall County Sheriff's Office reported Stephan R. Robinson, 40, of the 2100 block of Rebecca Circle, Montgomery, was sentenced as a weekender Friday on charges of leaving the scene of an accident (vehicle damage) and resisting or obstructing a peace officer or correctional institution employee. The charges stem from offenses dated Nov. 30, 2018, according to the sheriff's office.
