Enter Montgomery's Holiday Decorating Contest

MONTGOMERY, IL — The Montgomery Beautification Committee will be sponsoring its popular Holiday Decorations Contest again this year. This is an opportunity for homes and businesses to be recognized for exceptional holiday displays.

Just like last year, judges will give priority for awards to homes and businesses that are nominated for consideration. Residents can nominate their own property or someone else's simply by submitting the property address.

On Dec. 12, committee members and volunteer judges will visit the nominated addresses in order to select the winners. A sign will be placed that evening in front of the properties selected for an award. Owners are asked to leave these signs up through the holidays.

Nominations will be accepted until Dec. 10, and judging will take place the evening of Dec. 12.
