Foster Homes Needed for April 22nd!

Will you help us save these pups?

It’s Spring….and that means our shelter partners overflowing with unwanted dogs and puppies!
Safe Haven Dog Rescue does not have a physical location and the dogs in our program rely upon the generosity of families that open their homes to provide a temporary Safe Haven. We can only save as many dogs as we have foster homes. Every week we have to turn away hundreds of requests to accept dogs into our adoption program.
The dogs pictured have the chance to come to Illinois on April 22nd, but we need committed foster homes to make that happen.

Fostering is a challenging but extremely rewarding experience…

Have you been thinking about adding a canine companion to your family but not certain?
Or have you ever wondered if your dog would like a playmate?
Would you like to have the first choice to adopt some amazing pups?
NOW is your chance! Our fosters have the first choice to adopt!

Dottie- female terrier mix, 1 year old, and about 20 lbs. She is "light" heart worm positive. This little one had to be somebody's baby...she is happy when she is being held and loved...and cries when she has to go back to her kennel :( She just needs a family of her own to love.
Dipsey- female, hound/heeler mix. She is approximately 8 months old and weighs 29lbs. Plays well with others and loves everyone!

Goldie- female spaniel mix. This little girl is about 6 months old and weighs approximately 25 lbs. She is heartworm NEGATIVE. She is full of energy, gets along well with all other dogs, and loves to play.

Ty Great Dane/Lab Mix Approx. 1 yr old49 lbs (needs to gain weight): He's very laid back, but he likes to pick up a toy and play. He's fine with my 4 fab four after just a few minutes together. He follows me around, he'll come when I call him, and he's good when he's in the outside kennel. He stayed there the last two nights and didn't make a sound all night. He never pulls on the leash. I have a little door for the children and it was good at first when he had a stay outside, but he learned after one day that he could come in. He's a genius! He's thin but I'm fattening him up. He's a wonderful man.

Duncan 1 yr old Male Lab mix Approx. 50 lbs. Gets along well with other dogs. This sweet boy would like to come to rescue but will need a committed foster home first! Duncan is housebroken.
Rascal Approx. 2 yrsLab mix MaleApprox. 50 lbs. Sweet, good natured boy. Looks more Lab-ish in person. Good with other dogs. Rascal would love to come to rescue but he must have a committed foster home before he arrives.
