Just 2 More Foster Homes Needed for 4/22/17

Will you help us bring these girls to safety?

Safe Haven Dog Rescue is looking for just 2 more foster homes for dogs that have the chance to arrive THIS Saturday 4/22. These dogs would like to get OUT of the shelter, and are hoping that we can find committed fosters for them.

Iris - Female Lab mix
Approximately 3 years old

Iris is a wonderful girl that wants nothing more than to have her belly rubbed. In fact, it's hard to get good pictures of her because she is always wagging her tail and showing her belly for a pet.
She is a little on the "fluffy" side at 67lbs. and could use some walks to help her regain her girlish figure. We are told she is probably the sweetest dog at the shelter and she would love a chance to come to Illinois and find her forever family. She would be such a perfect companion!

Dipsey- Female, hound/heeler mix. She is approximately 8 months old and weighs 29lbs.Dipsey is such a loving girl! She loves humans of all ages and plays well with the other dogs at the shelter. She would love the chance to come to Illinois and find her forever family.

While you foster, we pay all expenses from vetting, to food and we provide a crate, leash, collars, and toys. Your family provides love (something they desperately need!) and a safe place to lay their heads until they find forever homes.

Both of these beautiful girls are also available for our Foster to Adopt Program. This program allows you to be the family that greets her when she arrives in Illinois and foster for two weeks to determine if this pup is right for your family!
