Man Crashes SUV After Being Shot On Route 30 Bridge In Montgomery
A man appeared to have been shot Tuesday morning before crashing his SUV on the Route 30 bridge, Montgomery police said.
MONTGOMERY, IL — Montgomery police are investigating an apparent shooting Tuesday morning that led a man to crash his SUV on the Route 30 bridge.
Officers were called 11:30 a.m. Tuesday to a crash on the bridge and found a man suffering from a potential gunshot wound, police said in a news release. He was taken to a local hospital to be treated, police said.

The man’s SUV had four bullet holes in its passenger side, WGN-TV reports.
Police said they shut down Route 30 between Briarcliff Road and Route 31 for more than three hours as they investigated.
