MONTGOMERY, IL — An Aurora man faces charges including reckless driving and aggravated fleeing and eluding after Montgomery police said he fled at a high rate of speed from a traffic stop. Police said an officer attempted to stop Adam Tyminski, 20, of the 1900 block of Tall Oaks Drive, for speeding just before 11 p.m. March 7 near Goodwin Drive and Reading Drive.

As the officer walked up to the car, police say Tyminski drove off at a high rate of speed, running the red light at Goodwin and Hill Avenue and heading into Aurora at speeds in excess of 100 mph. Officers soon ended their pursuit and provided Tyminski's vehicle information to surrounding police agencies.
