MONTGOMERY, IL -- This week, Montgomery will see high temperatures paired with the possibility of thunderstorms and high winds. Heat indeces will reach almost 100, and wind gusts may cause some damage.
The National Weather Service has issued a Hazardous Weather Outlook for northern Illinois. Monday, residents can expect a limited thunderstorm risk with wind gusts up to 50 miles per hour and an excessive heat risk with the heat index reaching almost 100.
The Hazardous Weather Outlook for Tuesday says there is a limited severe thunderstorm risk and a limited excessive heat risk. Wednesday carries a limited severe thunderstorm risk and a limited flooding risk.
