Montgomery Weekend Weather: Warm, Chance Of Storms, Hail

MONTGOMERY, IL -- Montgomery will see a warm weekend with a chance of storms and precipitation throughout. Chances of precipitation range from 20 to 30 percent.

The National Weather Service has also issued a hazardous weather outlook for the area. Thursday night is seeing an elevated hail risk, an elevated thunderstorm wind damage risk, a limited flooding risk and an elevated fog risk.

There will be a warm an unstable air mass, and isolated storms are possible Thursday afternoon. Hail could be up to the size of a half-dollar. The National Weather Service says the storm is moving southeast.

Today: A slight chance of showers and thunderstorms before 3pm, then a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms after 5pm. Partly sunny, with a high near 90. Heat index values as high as 95. Calm wind becoming west southwest around 5 mph in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 20%.

Tonight: A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 2am. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 69. West southwest wind 5 to 10 mph.

Friday: A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly before 8am. Mostly sunny, with a high near 84. North northwest wind 5 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph.

Friday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 58. North wind 5 to 10 mph, with gusts as high as 15 mph.

Saturday: Sunny, with a high near 81. North northwest wind 5 to 10 mph.

Saturday Night: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 2am. Partly cloudy, with a low around 61.

Sunday: A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 2pm. Mostly sunny, with a high near 83.
