Montgomery Woman Charged With Child Endangerment

Police said they began a child abuse investigation on Thursday.

MONTGOMERY, IL — A Montgomery woman faces a charge of endangering the life and health of a child after police responded to the 2200 block of Jericho Road for a delayed report of possible child abuse at around 7:30 p.m. Thursday.

With the assistance of the Department of Children and Family Services, police conducted an investigation and arrested 30-year-old Serenity Rivers.

Police said Rivers is due at Aurora branch court on March 20.
