Montgomery's New BBQ Joint to Get Ribbon Cutting Ceremony
South Moon Barbeque opened in December and is located at 211 N. River Road.
MONTGOMERY, IL — A ribbon cutting ceremony for Montgomery’s new BBQ joint will be held at noon Thursday, Feb. 18.
South Moon Barbeque chose Montgomery as its third location after opening up shops in Hinckley and Sandwich.
The cutting will be held South Moon, located at 211 N. River Road in Montgomery.

South Moon BBQ specializes in southern-style smoked meat. A light lunch will be served after the cutting.
The event is being presented by South Moon BBQ, the Village of Montgomery, the Montgomery Economic Development and the Greater Montgomery Area Chamber of Commerce.
