New Attractions At Massacre Haunted House In Montgomery
The Massacre Haunted House in Montgomery is open again and remains one of the scariest in Illinois.

MONTGOMERY, IL -- Several new attractions have been added to one of the scariest haunted houses in Illinois ahead of the Halloween season in 2017. The Massacre Haunted House at 299 Montgomery Road in Montgomery is open for the season with a Medical Asylum, Terror Town and numerous renovations included as new features.
Massacre Haunted House includes more than 40 rooms of crypts and caverns, a possessed house and voodoo jungle, according to a news release. A 3-D freak show and terror town are also included in the admission price.

"We've completely remodeled nearly every room, and added over a dozen new rooms with cutting edge effects and attention to detail like you would see in a horror movie," Massacre Haunted House Creative Designer Ryan Burke said. “Be prepared to be scared from every angle, we've added actor scare-boxes in unique places that you would never see coming.”
The Montgomery haunted house, now in its ninth year, has been ranked as the best haunted house in Illinois by publications such as the Chicago Tribune and USA Today. It bills itself as "an in your face terrifying experience with over 100 actors every night" and "is not intended for children or the weak."

It is open from Thursday through Sunday nights through Halloween, as well as Monday, Oct. 30 and Halloween night on Tuesday, Oct. 31.
