New Diplomas For Oswego East Grads After Error Discovered
School District 308 officials said they're issuing hundreds of new diplomas after an incorrect signature was found on those handed out.
OSWEGO, IL - District 308 officials said hundreds of new diplomas will be issued after an incorrect signature was found on those handed out over the weekend at graduation.
The diplomas issued Saturday to graduates of Oswego East High School had the signature of the former superintendent instead of the current one, according to the Aurora Beacon-News.
More than 500 diplomas were affected. The new ones are expected to be mailed to graduates within two weeks.
