Students Hold Ceremony for Deceased Classmate

Students at Plank Junior High School in Oswego held a birthday celebration to honor the memory of Isabella Erickson, who died tragically in an ATV accident. Nov. 16 would have been Erickson’s thirteenth birthday.

The school, where Isabella would have been in seventh grade, sold balloons and then released them to raise money for a memorial bench and tree that will be planted this spring in honor of Isabella.

Isabella’s parents, along with friends and family, and Plank students were on hand for the event.
