Village Announces Montgomery Cemetery Walk Indoor Event

MONTGOMERY, IL — If you were unable to attend Montgomery's annual Cemetery Walk at Riverside Cemetery on Oct. 3, there will be an indoor version presented at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 9 by the Historic Preservation Commission at the Village Hall, 200 N. River Street. The Village of Montgomery said the event will take place in the Board Room and will feature most of the original actors as well as a PowerPoint slideshow.

The free indoor presentation is being offered by the Village of Montgomery and the event is handicapped accessible. Like the Oct. 3 event, this isn't a spooky one, as it's just a chance for people of all ages to learn out the area's rich history, the Village said.

The monthly Senior Lunch and activity will begin at 11 a.m. following the presentation and costs $4.
