THE VILLAGE OF MONTGOMERY, ILLINOIS
- A public hearing for the proposed property tax levy increase for the Village of Montgomery, Illinois will be held on November 23, 2020 at 7:00 p.m. at the Village Hall, 200 N. River Street, Montgomery, Illinois 60538. Any person desiring to appear at the public hearing and present testimony to the taxing district may contact Jeff Zoephel, Village Administrator, at (630) 896-8080.
- The corporate and special purpose property taxes extended for 2019 were $2,227,811. The proposed corporate and special purpose property taxes to be levied for 2020 are $2,303,941. This represents an increase of 3.42% over the amount of property taxes levied the previous year.
- The property taxes extended for debt service for 2019 were $-0-. The estimated property taxes to be levied for debt service for 2020 are $-0-. This represents no change from the previous year.
- The total property taxes extended for 2019 were $2,227,811. The estimated total property taxes to be levied for 2020 are $2,303,941. This represents an increase of 3.42% over the previous year.
