20 Inpatients Hospitalized With Coronavirus At Edward Hospital

Since March 24, 2020, 2,247 inpatients have been treated for coronavirus and discharged from Edward Hospital.

NAPERVILLE, IL — Edward Hospital is treating 20 inpatients with confirmed cases of coronavirus as of Tuesday, according to an email from hospital spokesperson Keith Hartenberger.

This is notably less than last week, when the hospital was treating 27 coronavirus patients. As of March 23, seven coronavirus patients had been in treatment at Edward Hospital.

The most recent numbers still reflect a notable decrease compared to the end of 2020. As of Dec. 28, 2020, Edward Hospital was treating 57 coronavirus inpatients.

Hartenberger added that no patients died from coronavirus within the past 24 hours. In total, Edward Hospital has seen 150 deaths from coronavirus.
