Naper Nights Will Once Again Bring Live Music To Naperville
The summer concert series will kick off on July 16 and 17 with tributes to Tina Turner, James Brown and the Talking Heads.
NAPERVILLE — Good news for fans of live music: Naper Settlement will kick off its annual Naper Nights Community Concert Series, held on the museum's grounds, on July 16-17 from 5-10 p.m.
July 16's lineup features a performance by Simply the Best, a Tina Turner tribute, from 6-7:30 p.m., and James Brown Dance Party, a tribute to James Brown, from 8-10 p.m., a news release from Naper Settlement said. On July 17, The Ron Burgundys will play yacht rock songs from 6-7:30 p.m. and Big Suit will perform hits from the Talking Heads from 8-10 p.m.
Both concerts will begin with performances from students taking lessons at School of Rock, who will play their favorites from 5-5:40 p.m., the news release said.

Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for youth ages 4-12. Tickets can be purchased at NaperNights.org, and admission is free for members and children under 4 years old.
Naper Nights includes two nights of concerts each month in July, August and September that feature the area's best tribute bands performing music from the 1960s to today, according to the news release. The shows are back after the entire series was canceled in 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic.

"Naper Nights has been a local Naperville tradition for the past 15 years," said Denise Cartina, public relations and social media team leader for Naper Settlement.
Each performance will have a variety of food vendors, including Tailgate Caterers, Nothing Bundt Cakes, Billy Bricks Pizza, Everdine’s Grilled Cheese, and John’s Rib House, the news release said, and vegetarian and gluten free options will be available.
Miller Lite beer will be served, as will select Two Brothers Brewing varieties and wine from Rodney Strong Vineyards.
Main Event, Pinot's Palette, Pro Martial Arts and Wicked Ball Chicago will provide activities for children, the news release said.
Future concerts will take place on Aug. 13-14 and Sept. 17-18.
