Are These Your Cats? They're Waiting In Naperville

Naperville's missing cats need a home in time for Christmas!

NAPERVILLE, IL — These missing cats need a home for the holidays! Animal Control houses all stray animals for seven days so the owners can have a chance to reclaim them, said Julie Kincade, animal control officer with the City of Naperville. After that week is up, they can transfer them to any state-licensed rescue or humane society so they can find a new home.

The dilute torti, outlined in red, was taken in last Saturday, which means a shelter will pull her in after this weekend. The brown tiger with white kitty (outlined in yellow) was just admitted Tuesday and will be held at least through Wednesday of next week before they look for a spot for her.

Employees have been trying to find a home for the black cat, who has been there for over a week. The hope is for their owners to call 630-420-6178 to reclaim them. Officers would be more than happy, though, to facilitate with an adoption.
