Postal Worker Punched By Attempted Robber In Naperville
The would-be thief fled the scene, cops release sketch.

NAPERVILLE, IL — Police are looking for a man who punched a United States Postal Service mail carrier in the face, knocked her to the street and rifled through her pockets in an apparent attempt at a robbery. Officers responded to the incident at 11:15 a.m. on the 1000 block of Main Street. The man left without taking anything.
According to a press release from the Naperville Police Department, he fled the area in a newer model black Nissan sedan. The vehicle has a hatchback and the license plate starts with the letter “Q.” It was driven by a heavy-set black female with shoulder length hair beneath a stocking cap. The main offender was described as a tall, thin black man in his 40s with gray/black hair, a black knit cap, hoodie, black jacket, weathered jeans with bleach/acid-washed spots and red high top shoes. He had a light blue surgical mask around his neck to attempt to cover his face. He has four missing top front teeth.
