Can You Identify The Man Who Punched A Female Mail Carrier?

Naperville Crime Stoppers is giving $1,000 if information on the man or his accomplice leads to an arrest.

NAPERVILLE, IL — Crime Stoppers will give someone $1,000 if their information that leads to an arrest. Police are looking for whoever is responsible for an attempted robbery of a U.S. Postal Service mail carrier Oct. 4. At around 11:15 a.m. on the 1000 block of N. Main Street, a man punched a USPS mail carrier in the face, knocked her to the street, rifled through her pockets, and left without anything. The man fled with a female accomplice in a black Nissan sedan with a license plate that starts with a “Q.”

The offender is described as a tall, thin black male in his 40s, black and gray hair with four missing top front teeth. He was seen that day wearing black knit cap, hoodie, black jacket, weathered jeans with bleached, acid-wash spots, red colored high top shoes, and a light blue colored surgical mask around his neck he used in an attempt to cover his face. He dropped the purple bandanna in the above picture, according to a press release from the Naperville Police Department.
