Carrabba's Grill In Naperville Permanently Closed
The location was one of "43 underperforming restaurants" that the parent company decided to close
The Carrabba's Grill in at 944 Route 59 in Naperville has shut down. A recorded message on the restaurant's phone line said "This Carrabba's is permanently closed."
The company that owns the restaurant chain, Bloomin' Brands, decided on Feb. 15 to close "43 underperforming restaurants."
Bloomin' Brands also owns Outback Steakhouse, Bonefish Grill and Fleming's Prime Steakhouse. The company generated 4.3 percent less revenue in the last three months of 2016 compared with the same time period in 2015.

"Although 2016 was a challenging year for both Bloomin' Brands and the industry, we made real progress on our strategy to reallocate spending away from discounting toward investments to strengthen brand health, " Bloomin Brands CEO Liz Smith said in a press release. "We are pleased with how our brands are performing so far in 2017, particularly at Outback where we believe our investments are beginning to gain traction."
