Celebrate Arbor Day By Planting A Pre-Grown Tree In Naperville

NAPERVILLE, IL — To celebrate Arbor Day, Naperville is offering dozens of container-grown trees for sale to residents. Maples, lindens, oaks, elms, and fragrant lilac trees will be some of the options available for purchase by cash or check at the Naperville Public Works building on April 28.

Tree experts will be on hand at the special Arbor Day event to share tips and advice for cultivating a tree on your property. Multiple trees will be available for purchase and staff will help you load them up into your vehicles, according to a post from city officials.

The Arbor Day tree sale will take place on April 28 from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Public Works Service Center, 180 Fort Hill Dr. Get there bright and early to get your pick of the best trees.
