Cell Phone Stolen At Gunpoint In Naperville Armed Robbery: Cops
Police say the armed robbery took place Monday evening in an apartment building in the 1500 block of Fairway Drive.
NAPERVILLE, IL — Naperville police are investigating an armed robbery that took place in the 1500 block of Fairway Drive Monday evening.
The victim, a 17-year-old from Warrenville, told police he went to an apartment building at the above location around 8:30 p.m. and was confronted by three men, one of whom grabbed him and demanded his belongings. The teen was "battered" by the men, and one man pointed a handgun at him, according to a news release from Naperville Police Department.
Police say the teen's cell phone and a phone charger were stolen during the incident. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the Naperville Police Department at 630-420-6665.
