Another election season is upon us, and 95% of your property tax bill is on the ballot. People will be elected to city council, school boards, park district, and townships whether you vote or not so you might as well help choose people for these important roles. How to decide? Many rely on endorsements. The general endorsements are nice, but I prefer individual endorsements from someone I respect who also KNOWS the candidate, and even better has worked side by side with that person.

Jennifer Bruzan Taylor has received some significant individual endorsements. She has the backing of City Councilman Paul Hinterlong, City Councilman Kevin Coyne, City Councilwoman
Patty Gustin, former City Councilwoman Rebecca Boyd Obarski, former Illinois State Representative Grant Wehrli, and community leader Mary Ann Bobosky. All have dedicated their heart and soul to the city of Naperville over the last 4 decades at so many different levels. They are a diverse group that is recognized and respected throughout Naperville. Others are learning what makes Jennifer such a great candidate, including the Naperville Fraternal Order of Police, Naperville Fireman’s Union, and local groups and businesses. It all adds up to a broad base of support across the city.

All of these civic leaders and groups acknowledge important qualities in Jennifer that are absolutely necessary for a seat on Naperville City Council. They describe her as a proven community leader, a listener, a researcher, a hard worker, an independent thinker, and willing to see both sides of an issue. With Jennifer, transparency wins and Naperville has a proven fighter to stand up for what's right so that Naperville continues to be admired as a great place for family and businesses.
