Crews Start Work On Naperville's Municipal Parking Deck
The project will result in daily closures of roughly 20 parking spots.

NAPERVILLE, IL — Residents who visit Naperville's municipal center may have a harder time than usual finding a parking spot now that the city is moving forward with the next phase of repairs to its parking deck. The maintenance work and updates, which starts Monday, will temporarily limit the number of available parking spaces.
Crews will work to patch concrete, replace sidewalks and trench drains, and upgrading hand rails in the more than 30-year-old structure. Additional updates include adjusting one of the building's entrances to make it more ADA accessible.
City officials say this phase of the parking deck project will be done in phases that leave at least one entrance accessible at a time and limit the amount of unavailable parking spots. Residents will still be able to park in the Water Street Parking Deck during the duration of the construction.
