District 204 Cancels Friday Night Activities
All District 204 after-school events have been canceled. Activities set for Saturday are still scheduled to take place as planned.
After-school activities and events scheduled for District 204 schools have been canceled for this afternoon and evening, according to Waubonsie Valley High School Assistant Principal Jason Schmidtgall.
All building rentals, athletic contests and extra-curricular events, practices and rehearsals scheduled for Friday night are canceled. Rescheduled events will be posted on the WVHS Athletic 2000 website, the district said.
Meanwhile, high school students were dismissed at 2 p.m. to allow for timely bus pick-up of elementary and middle school students.

As of late Friday afternoon, all events scheduled for Saturday were expected to continue as planned.
