Downed ComEd Utility Pole Closes Book Road In Naperville: Village
Officials do not have a timetable for when the road will reopen and the area between Levernz Road and Joyce Lane is affected.
NAPERVILLE, IL – A downed Commonwealth Edison utility pole has forced the closure of Book Road between Leverenz Road and Joyce Lane on Wednesday.
The Road is closed in both directions as ComEd crews work to get the site cleared, a village spokeswoman said Wednesday afternoon.
Motorists are asked to seek an alternate route as village officials do not have a timeframe for when the road may reopen. The spokeswoman said that when the village releases an alert about a road closure, it is anticipated the closure will remain in place for at least four hours.
