DUI; Possession of Cannabis: Naperville Police Blotter

Naperville Police Department reports, Oct. 15

Tuesday, Oct. 15 

DUI

Michael J. Lewis, 42, of Oswego, was arrested at 4:26 a.m. near Ferry Roadand North route 59, police said. He was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol. He was transported to DuPage County Jail. 

Possession of cannabis

  • Nick Barrantes Canani, 39, of Aurora, was arrested at 7:40 p.m. in the 1100 block of Grand Lake Court, police said. He was charged with possession of cannabis. He posted bond. 
  • David J. Jones, 32, of Oswego, was arrested at 8:05 p.m. near Brookdale Road and North Route 59, police said. He was charged with possession of cannabis. He posted bond. 
No insurance

  • Hal Fletcher Olmedo, 24, of Elburn, was arrested at 8:46 p.m. near Aurora Avenue and South Washington Street, police said. He was charged with operating a vehicle without insurance. He was transported to DuPage County Jail. 
  • Justin Wayne Walden, 23, of Sheridan, was arrested at 10:58 p.m. near I-88 and North route 59, police said. He was charged with operating a vehicle without insurance. He posted bond. 

Suspended/revoked license

Juan Pablo Lopez-Castillo, 40, of Oswego, was arrested at 10:31 p.m. near New York Street and South Route 59, police said. He was charged with driving with a suspended/revoked license. He posted bond. 

Car stereo stolen

A car stereo was stolen from a vehicle in the 1400 block of West Ogden Avenue, police said.
