
John McLean, guitarist and member of North Central College's music faculty, will perform at "An Evening With Jazz Guitarist John McLean.”
A native of Long Island, NY, McLean began playing gigs while attending high school in Detroit. He attended the Berklee College of Music in Boston before earning his master's degree from the University of Miami in 1988. He also taught in Novia Scotia for three years.
McLean has appeared on more than 20 recordings, including albums led by fellow Chicago musicians Terry Collier, Grazyna Auguscik, Patricia Barber and Janice Borla.

McLEAN has made appearances at clubs and festivals throughout the United States, Canada and Europe; and has performed with jazz musicians such as Randy Brecker, Jane Ira Bloom, Kurt Elling and Jerry Granelli.
Tickets will cost $20 per adult; $15 per student and senior citizen.
