“Someday Melissa: The Story of an Eating Disorder, Loss and Hope” Premiere

Linden Oaks at Edward will host the premiere of the documentary film, “Someday Melissa: The story of an eating disorder, loss and hope.”


Telling the story of Melissa Avrin, who died at age 19 from a heart attack due to the effects of bulimia, this documentary was created by Avrin's mother Judy to increase awareness and reduce the stigma of eating disorders.


Registration will begin at 11:30 a.m.; lunch and networking from 12 to 12:30 p.m.; and the showing, and discussion, from 12:30 to 3 p.m.

An open house at the Linden Oaks Outpatient Center will be held from 3 to 7 p.m.
