Firefighters Extinguish Blaze At Naperville Strip Mall

NAPERVILLE, IL — Firefighters battled a blaze that started at a strip mall in the 1200 block of East Chicago Avenue in Naperville Friday night.

Fire crews got to the scene just before 9:45 p.m. to find smoke coming from the first floor of the strip mall. The blaze was located in one of the strip mall's units and put out "quickly," according to a news release from Naperville Fire Department Bureau Chief Thomas Moran.

No one was injured in the fire. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
