Firefighters Respond To North Brainard Chimney Fire
The fire was put out within 20 minutes by the Naperville Fire Department.
NAPERVILLE, IL — A chimney fire damaged the roof of a home in the 700 block of North Brainard in Naperville and put a brief scare into the occupants Saturday night, but no one was injured.
Naperville firefighters responded to the call at about 7:30 p.m. and put out the fire. Everyone inside evacuated from the home. The fire was put out within 20 minutes and damaged was contained to the chimney and roof area, according to the fire department.
