Two Rugby Illinois clubs, the Naperville Warriors and the Neuqua Wildcats, held their city championship match on Saturday, March 16 at Nike Sports Complex. They named the championship cup for Gary Foiles for his years of work in support of the growth of rugby in Naperville. Gary began the Naperville Park District’s Rookie Rugby and Youth Development programs which continue to prepare younger players for high school rugby. Foiles retired from the Park District in 2018.

In Saturday’s match, the Neuqua Wildcats defeated the Naperville Warriors.
