Hundreds Gathered For George Floyd Protest At Cantore Park
The peaceful protest was held at Cantore Park Sunday.

NAPERVILLE, IL — Hundreds of people gathered in Naperville's Cantore Park Sunday to protest the death of George Floyd. The Naperville Demands Police Accountability rally was held at Cantore Park, which was recently vandalized with graffiti that read "white pride" and included gang-related symbols.
Chip DeLorenzo, of Chipshot Photography, who attended the rally and took photos, told Patch he was "moved by the positive energy of the speakers and crowd." DeLorenzo added that the protest was peaceful and that he didn't hear about or see "any issues."
The rally featured speakers from the Black Panthers and Root2Fruit Youth Foundation.
