Naperville Area Humane Society is seeking an energetic, team player to join our animal care team. Candidates must have excellent people skills as well as animal handling skills.

The Animal Care Technician position involves animal care, cleaning, intake, and assessment in addition to working with the public to do adoptions. The position is an average of 20 hours per week and includes some evenings, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications include high school diploma or GED equivalent, ability to read/write/
communicate English, ability to perform physical work including lifting up to 75 pounds, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and working knowledge of Microsoft Office and computers in general.
