On Saturday, April 17, Springbrook Golf Course hosted Golfapalooza—a free special event to kick off the 2021 golfing season for junior golfers, ages 5-17, and for kids who want to learn about the game of golf. Young golfers enjoyed hitting free range balls while receiving instruction from PGA professionals. The event also included complimentary hot dogs, games and prizes.

“We are happy to see that more young people are showing an interest in golf,” said Director of Golf Kevin Carlson. “Participation has been growing in our junior leagues and lesson programs, where players of all abilities learn the fundamentals of the game while having fun. Golf is a lifetime sport and as we experienced in 2020, is an activity that can be enjoyed safely outdoors.”
