Local Great Harvest Bread Co. Donates Toilet Paper To DuPage PADS

The local Great Harvest Bread Co. has partnered with Schultz to donate a roll of toilet paper each time someone purchases a loaf of bread.

NAPERVILLE, IL — A Naperville restaurant has found a creative way to give back during the new coronavirus crisis. Great Harvest Bread Co. has partnered with Schultz to donate a roll of toilet paper to DuPage PADS for each loaf of bread bought from their Naperville or Downers Grove stores.

Toilet paper has been in short supply throughout the country in recent weeks due to panicked buying and hoarding. In an tongue-in-cheek online post, the company says the partnership aims to "wipe out (pun intended) the impact of hoarding basic staple items together."

The Great Harvest Bread Co. remains open during Governor Pritzker's stay-at-home order, with some slight changes to its menu. They said in an online update that they believe their bread can serve as an "essential food item."
