Localized Flooding Reported On Several Roads In Naperville

Motorists were advised not to drive down flooded roads after the weekend's heavy rains.

NAPERVILLE, IL — As heavy rains continued to fall into Sunday evening, Naperville is reporting localized flooding on "several roads," including on Ogden Avenue, city officials said in a press release.

As of early Monday, officials said much of the water had receded, but northbound Naper Boulevard was closed at 75th Street and at Hobson Road.

Motorists were advised to avoid driving on flooded streets. If you come up to a flooded road, you should turn around and find another route, city officials said.
