Man Charged with Armed Robbery at Tutti's Pizza

Police said Tutti's was robbed Wednesday night by a man wielding a handgun, who took an undisclosed amount of cash and fled.

A Naperville man was charged with armed robbery after police said he held up Tutti's Pizza Pasta and A More with a gun on Wednesday night.

said they received a report of an armed robbery at the restaurant, at 1783 S. Washington St., around 9:48 p.m. Wednesday.

When officers arrived on the scene, they were told Tutti's was robbed by someone wearing a mask and bandana, and wielding a handgun, who took an undisclosed amount of cash and fled, according to reports.

Officers said they searched the area around Tutti's and found 21-year-old Aaron J. Zibutis, of 251 Bay Colony Drive in Naperville, who matched the description provided by witnesses of the robber. Zibutis had with him a handgun, bandana and cash when police found him and was later identified by the victim, according to reports.

Zibutis was charged with armed robbery by Naperville police, and transferred to the DuPage County Jail.
