Man Punched Guard And Ran After Fake Check Was Rejected: Naperville Police
He was taken into custody after a brief foot pursuit, according to police

On Monday, April 3, Joseph Randle was arrested and charged with forgery and assaulting a security guard, according to Naperville Police. Randle, a 24-year-old from Chicago, was allegedly attempting to purchase power tools from a store on the 700 Block of Forthill with a fraudulent check and ID, according to department spokesman Cmdr. Lou Cammiso. When officers arrived, Randal ran and allegedly punched security guard, according to police. Randal was taken into custody after a brief foot pursuit, Cammiso said in an email to Patch. According to DuPage County Court records, Randle has been charged with aggravated assault and forgery. He is due in court on April 18. A charge is merely an accusation of a crime, not a finding of guilt.
