NAPERVILLE, IL — Naper Settlement's Century Memorial Chapel echoed with a chorus of voices saying "I do" for the second time around as 158 couples renewed their vows at the historic Naper Settlement building on Sunday. The ceremony, part of the ongoing 50th anniversary celebration of the Naperville Heritage Society, was attended by couple who had been married at the chapel over the past half-century.

The couples renewed their vows with the help of self-proclaimed 'Rent-A-Rev' Jim Rehnberg, who conducted the original wedding ceremony for many of the pairs in attendance.

According to Abby Bobzin, spokesperson for Naperville Heritage Society, the couple with the longest history, Peter and Nancy Yonker, was first married in 1972. Peter's mom, Peg Yonker, was one of the original members of Naperville Heritage Society Bobzin said.
