Police issued a citation in connection with the crash, but say the investigation is ongoing.

NAPERVILLE, IL — A 23-year-old Addison man is dead after a fatal motorcycle-car crash on Naperville's east side that took place just before 6 p.m. Monday.

Police say an initial investigation shows a 68-year-old Lisle man was driving a Nissan Sentra west on Ogden Avenue and made a turn from the left turn lane onto Naperville-Wheaton Road while the green light was solid. The Sentra turned in front of the 23-year-old's Suzuki GSXR 600 motorcycle as it was driving eastbound, according to police.

The motorcycle driver was taken to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries and was later pronounced dead. Police cited the Nissan Sentra driver for failing to yield on a left turn.
