Naperville 2021 St. Patrick's Day Parade Canceled Amid Pandemic
The parade, which was set for March 13, was canceled "out of an abundance of caution."

NAPERVILLE, IL — Naperville's St. Patrick's Day Parade has been canceled for the second year in a row due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Parade organizers West Suburban Irish, Inc., wrote on their website, "Out of an abundance of concern for the safety of our parade organizers, volunteers, participants, and spectators the West Suburban Irish are not having our traditional Naperville St. Patrick’s Day Parade on Saturday March 13, 2021. Although we are disappointed to announce the cancellation, we are committed to presenting the next parade in March 2022."
The city is planning to host Naperville Irish Fest in Aug. 2021.
