Naperville Crisis Hotline Now Includes Text Messaging

The hotline is available 24/7.

NAPERVILLE, IL — Residents can now use text messages to reach out to a trained counselor twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. Naperville's Collaborative Youth Team Resource Center has a text crisis hotline for those who want to discretely ask for help.

If you or someone you know is experiencing depression, anxiety, eating disorders, bullying, suicidal thoughts or any other painful emotion, please text REACH to 741741 to connect with a trained counselor at any time, day or night.

The Collaborative Youth Team is a coalition of youth-serving organizations and agencies working together to promote and advocate the health and well-being of children, youth and families in our community, according to the CYT website. KidsMatter serves as its facilitator and works with various constituencies including social services, education, recreation, community groups and law enforcement.
