Naperville To Discuss 248th Avenue Improvements At Open House
An open house will be held Nov. 7 to get the public's input about what the improvements should entail

NAPERVILLE, IL — Naperville city officials are asking the public for help about upcoming improvements to 248th Avenue. Residents are invited to an open house on Nov. 7 to discuss what potential upgrades and changes will improve the area of 248th Avenue between 95th and 103rd Streets.
The city will not share any concept designs at the meeting, which is strictly to gather feedback about what residents would like to see happen with that stretch of road. The aim is to "create a better driving experience for motorists, as well as better recreational experiences for bicyclists and pedestrians," city officials said in a news release.
Some potential improvements include linking gaps along the bike path to the west of 248th, resurfacing the street, and installing updated lighting.
