Naperville Fall Fun: Pumpkin Patches, Spooky Stories

NAPERVILLE, IL — Halloween is almost upon us in Naperville, and there’s still time to get in some seasonal fun. Even in the time of coronavirus, the Chicago area’s pumpkin patches are open — and there’s still time to scare up some fun with Patch’s tour of spooky yard haunts and tales of local lore.

Here’s a list of some of our favorite pumpkin patches near Naperville:

Name: Sonny Acres Farm

Address: 29W310 North Ave., West Chicago

Season opening/closing dates: Open through Oct. 31

Attractions: Pumpkin Patch, Jumping Pillow, Kiddie Corral, Express Train, Petting Zoo

Hours: Tuesday through Thursday, Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Click the link for amusement ride hours.

Hours: Wednesday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Closed Monday and Tuesday

Pricing: $12 on weekdays; $17 on weekends and holidays. Kids 2 and under get in free.
