Naperville Fire Department Responds To Structure Fire Wednesday Morning

A dozen vehicles rushed to the structure at the 800 block of North Sleight Street early Wednesday morning.

NAPERVILLE, IL. - The Naperville Fire Department responded to a multi-family residence near the intersection of Columbia Street and Ogden Avenue early Wednesday morning. All of the occupants at the 800 block of North Sleight Street building had exited the structure upon arrival, according to a press release from the Naperville Fire Department. A dozen department vehicles and 25 personnel arrived at the scene shortly after an alarm went off at 2:30 a.m.

Emergency response arrived to a balcony fire. Although it was contained, firefighters removed balcony railing and some drywall. Minor smoke damage was found in the residence. The cause of the fire was determined to be accidental.
