Naperville To Host Rally Celebrating North Central College Win
The rally will be held on Jan. 31 at North Central College.

NAPERVILLE, IL — The City of Naperville will host a rally on Jan. 31 to celebrate North Central College's recent NCAA Division III championship win. The event will start at 3:30 p.m. with a procession led by members of the Naperville Police and Fire Departments from Fire Station 7 at 1380 Aurora Ave.
The procession, which will feature members of the Cardinals football team and their coaches, will head to Benedetti-Wehrli Stadium at 455 S. Brainard St., where the rally will start at 4 p.m.
North Central College's marching band and cheerleaders are slated to perform at the rally, which will also feature speeches from Head Football Coach Jeff Thorne, College President Troy D. Hammond, and members of the football team.

In a statement, Naperville Mayor Steve Chirico said, "Cheering on this great team has provided hours of excitement for many in our community and an enhanced sense of local pride in all that Naperville offers. We hope the community will join us as we celebrate the team's accomplishment at the rally on Jan. 31."
Residents who attend the rally can park at the city's Central Parking Facility at 75 E. Chicago Ave., the Municipal Center Parking Facility at 400 S. Eagle St., and the Water Street Parking Facility at 120 Water St.
